My second stay at The Glen, friendly staff/owners. Different room this time round but really spacious, clean and with all you would need for a break away. Breakfast is still really good with a wide selection and freshly cooked. Ideal hotel for my needs being situated close to family and excellent for days out within the Borders and close to Tweedbank for the train to Edinburgh with free parking. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

I made a last minute booking at The Glen and enjoyed it. Before I checked in, they messaged me to see if I would need a supper reservation. The host met me when I arrived later, and my room was comfortable. I went and sat in the front room for a bit in the evening, and the host came out to turn on the gas fireplace for me. My room was quite cool (which I prefer) but there was a heater available in the closet. There were several menu options for breakfast (selected the night before) and it was very nice (my first time trying kippers).
