Beautiful setting. Wonderful location. Room extremely comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Fantastic breakfast. Would highly recommend.

We had such a relaxing evening, breaking up two very long drives. The room was clean and large, with plenty of space for all our end-of-trip bags - and the bed was so comfortable. Excellent cooked breakfast in the morning to set us off for the final stretch of our journey. We were there on a weekend when dinner isn't served, but it's a quick walk into Selkirk where we easily found somewhere to eat. There was a bit of noise in the early evening, as our room was above the bar area, but it all went quiet as soon as the bar closed so no complaints here - good to hear people having a laugh. Great views from the huge window.

Not about the guesthouse at all, just a heads up that if your sat nav suggests approaching from the west (Buccleuch Road or coming over the Selkirk Bridge), be prepared for a tight turn into the drive. We had to reverse out and try again - not impossible, just a bit tricky if there's traffic. If you have a larger vehicle, drive down Yarrow Road from the town centre to make it easier.

The owners were so kind and went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable, including offering us the night's meal even though we hadn't booked in advance.
