We couldn't fault our stay. Our room was on the second floor with velux windows in both the bedroom and bathroom affording lovely views. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and warm. There is a well stocked amenity tray and a mini bar containing lots of choices. We were even offered fresh milk for our tea & coffee, so much nicer then UHT pots! The breakfasts are fresh and delicious, with a very good choice of juices, fruit, yoghurts, cereals and full English. We wouldn't hesitate to return if we find ourselves in Hereford again.

Parking was great, hospitality was perfect and the room over delivered, I had a flat tyre and Steve & Sheila were amazing, Hereford also over delivered, all in all it was an amazing stay

Booked after reading reviews and have to agree with every positive comment. Excellent location 15 min walk to the centre of Hereford. Very accommodating and helpful hosts and staff. Lovely spacious room with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was cooked to order with a good choice.

Great little B&B, amazing for the price and so close to the train station only an hour into Cardiff. Off-road parking at the front off the property, easy check in, we were given fresh milk for the teas & coffee in our room. There was a mini bar with plenty of choice if you wanted to purchase drinks. The room was clean, had plenty of space and everything you would need for a short stay. But the absolute best bit was the breakfast, great choice of hot and cold food, all included in the price of the stay.

Overall, a nice place to stay for the weekend save for a couple of minor spoilers - dead flies around the bathroom window were still there after the second day. Also, I found that the shower tray was very slippery, bordering on being dangerous for an old git like me - this is a health and safety issue which really needs sorting. Bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were good.

Beautiful B&B. Friendly and welcoming. Room was small but very clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast with a lot of choice. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Close to the train station and bus station. Very convenient.

Beautiful house, very tastefully furnished. All amenities you could require available in the room. Great breakfast, both cooked and continental. Only 10 minute walk into Hereford and the trains and buses. Only slight criticism was some bits of maintenance needed in bathroom, black on silicon at bath taps, floor grouting needed attention and sink plug didn't fit properly. Sheila and Steve were super friendly proprietors, happy to do anything to ensure a great stay.

Everything about our stay was absolutely lovely. Our room was clean and very nice. Any amenity that you could possibly need. The owners/staff were extremely nice and accommodating. The provided breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. I would highly recommend them!

Our stay at Somerville House was excellent. Sheila and Steve were very welcoming and provided everything to make our stay comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely first class, the beds were extremely comfortable and the room had plenty of storage space. The beautiful garden was quiet and colourful with plenty of garden tables and chairs to use and a large canopy for shade which Steve put up for us. We had a choice of leaflets providing information about local places to visit and Sheila's suggestions helped us enjoy some lovely days out during our stay. We will definitely return! My wife and I stayed at Somerville House when we visited for a friends wedding. A warm welcome and a room that had every amenity that you could need, from a mini fridge to a kettle and an iron, and more..I liked the honesty bar facility as well. A comfortable bed and room. the hotel is a short 15 min walk into the City centre. The breakfast was excellent with a choice of fruit and cereals and a choice of hot breakfasts, coupled with a cafetiere of good coffee. The service was friendly. We found it to be perfect for our needs and would recommend.

Hosts were helpful and friendly, but not intrusive. Room was bright, airy and comfortable, with a lovely view. Lots of choice at breakfast, with perfectly cooked food. Excellent location for station and town. Lots of lovely indoor plants which enhanced the ambience. Sheila and Steve made us feel extremely welcome, will certainly stay again.

A beautiful old building beautifully kept. Sheila and Steve run a wonderful B&B of the highest standard. Lovely big rooms and quality furnishings. Excellent breakfast. We will be booking here every time we are in Hereford.
