Room exceptionally clean. Bed comfortable and the toilet and bathroom were located very close even though it is a shared bathroom. Some toiletries were provided also. Very nice host and the communication was excellent. Would stay again.

The heating was off the room was freezing. Called the off site owner who sent somebody to check the boiler and miraculously the heating came on. She tried to say it was already on timer but it was definately off till they arrived.

Perfect location! Even closer to the city centre than I thought when I booked it, just a five minute walk and you're in the middle of Hereford. Given that, the room represented brilliant value for money. It was comfortable, enough space for me and my son, and with good enough facilities in terms of a small TV, coffee making facilities, reliable wifi. We had a shared bathroom, but in practice it was right next to our room and no one else used it, so essentially it felt like our own. Cleaning staff we met were very friendly, there was plenty of car parking space, and the process of checking in, checking out and key access were all well handled very .

Nothing! (It might matter to some people, but there were no onsite meals available - this did not matter to us as it is so close to the city centre where there are plenty of options)

Location was close to work, my reason for choosing it. Didn't stay for breakfast.

Curtains were difficult to draw as they were hanging off a few of the rings. Duvet was thinner than a dying dog. Headboard was loose and occasionally banged against the wall when I moved in the night. TV was tiny and mounted high on the wall, old design with grubby remote and I was disappointed that they didn't have quest on such a basic TV.

The room was in very poor condition and had clearly not been cleaned properly before my arrival. There were cobwebs and spiders throughout, the toilet brush was visibly dirty, there was mould in the shower, and thick dust on surfaces, including the radiators which were full of dust. The room was also extremely hot, making it very uncomfortable, and the lack of soundproofing meant I could hear everything from adjoining rooms and outside. Overall, the standard was unacceptable and certainly not worth £80 per night.

We live in South Wales never stayed in Hereford before so didn't know the place. I was looking for an accommodation near Millar and Carter as we had a table booked there. Kidwells House was within walking distance. We were in room 17 it was on ground level with a patio. Front door was old rotting wood. Went in furniture was old decor needed updating carpets were stained shower very small old with black mould. So went to sit on patio with table 4 chairs and umbrella. Foreigners started talking in their language just on other side of fence then they started smoking wafting over fence then there was a lot of noise from them jet washing cars. So we left to walk towards our restaurant 2hrs earlier than planned. When we got to it there was a Premier Inn across the road I would rather stay there.Came back after drinking to sleep digital clock side of bed flashing with red light so covered it with cushion but fire exit light on ceiling lit up the room. But it was quiet no noise from outside. We left at 7am just got in car and came home.

Mattress was really floppy, when sat down ended up on the bed base.

Rooms were very clean with complimentary tea/coffee station and quaint bathroom with provided toiletries. Outside door is secure with a code, and rooms have a secure coded key lockbox. Location is facing a main street, but otherwise quiet and relaxing. Breakfast is available to purchase and staff are readily available to assist you with additional requests or help.

Building layout was a little confusing, as half the building is separated by the alleyway to the back parking lot.

Clean and a reasonable base for the Hay festival.

The car wash next door starts fairly early in the morning and is quite disturbing.

Great communication, excellent location, short walk to centre of Hereford. The room was spotless clean, no problems, would highly recommend.

Very convenient for the city. Clean bed linen and towels. Spacious room and en-suite. The owners were very accommodating and let us park the car in the car park before we checked in, and after we checked out.

The carpet was quite grubby, whereas the room itself was very clean.

Clean. Reasonably comfortable. Also, it only takes 20 minutes to walk to the cathedral which was one of the reasons for choosing this property. The member of staff was friendly and helpful.

The property is close to a very busy road and the traffic starts early in the morning and is incredibly noisy with cars often reving up speed. Seagulls perching on the opposite roof often sounded off in the middle of the night and added to the noise factor. The property also looked rather utilitarian.

Close to the centre of town with plenty of on site parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well presented with complementary tea on coffee in the rooms.

The room was clean and well presented. The text instructions for entry to the room were clear and easy to understand.

I had not noticed when booking that the bathroom is a shared one. This was not a problem for our one night stay but for longer stays it would not have met our requirements.

Simple basic overnight accommodation. Great comms prior to arrival. Very pleasant hostess and very helpful. Good car parking area.

Ground level front room has alot of traffic noise. The lamp & 110Vac shaver socket was not working.

The location was great, and the ladies in the office we're really helpful, and parking was really convenient.

Unfortunately, the bed felt lumpy and not very comfortable, there were cobwebs all over the ceiling and there was a dirty facial cleansing pad covered in makeup in the bathroom that was not mine.
