Full English amongst other breakfast was offered and proved exceptional value for well presented and well sourced food cooked well. The room was an upgrade due to current refurbishment arrangements and well maintained comfortable and spacious. WiFi proved excellent and communication with the hosts was great.

I was aware from previous reviews that the hotel is in the process of being improved and refurbished so the nature of fittings and need for modernising the bathroom was evident, however everything was serviceable and maintained.

We had a wonderful stay here and couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful setting. The B&B is in the beautiful, quiet Shropshire countryside, with lovely views across the surrounding fields. Our room was spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable, with luxurious carpeting and quality fittings. Breakfast was freshly cooked for us and served in the open-plan kitchen and dining area, which has wonderful views over the fields. Rose and Philip were absolutely lovely — warm, welcoming and genuinely made us feel at home. One of our favourite moments was simply sitting on the patio in the evening, watching the sunset with a glass of wine. A beautiful place to stay, made all the more special by the warmth and hospitality of Rose and Philip. We’d be very happy to stay again and would definitely recommend it.

Very warm welcome when I arrived. Plenty of parking. Attractive building. Fan in room which helped in the hot weather. Toiletries provided (shower gel, shampoo etc). Breakfast excellent and the dining area was lovely.

My room was a little tired in terms of decor and finishes.

The property itself has no doubt seen better days with some work required and the room was scruffy and in need of a refurb. Couldn't sleep a wink because of the noise from traffic on the main road. Not a fan of duvet's either, way too hot in the summer.
