I asked my Mexico City staff to recommend a hotel and they clearly didn't do any research as I was expecting a business hotel but Hotel Scala Magna is short time Love Hotel with huge jacuzzi in the middle of the room and free porn on T.V.

They do not have any coffeemaker, small refrigerator and microwave. Even they don't have any icemaker on any floor. Besides of that it's a great hotel the staff are so nice but no one understand english.

I liked that it was very clean, roomy and quiet, the staff was very friendly and attent to detail, the breakfast was pretty good the waiters very polite it was a very pleasant stay.

We made a fantastic choice by staying at Scala Magna for a friend’s wedding. The welcome was warm and the room was very clean. We also had a lovely meal in the restaurant on the Friday night. The waiters were very pleasant and attentive. Although I had a disturbed nights sleep, It was pleasant and the bed was comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and on our next trip or wedding in the Satélite area Scala Magna will be our only choice.

We made a fantastic choice by staying at Scala Magna for a friend’s wedding. The welcome was warm and the room was very clean. We also had a lovely meal in the restaurant on the Friday night. The waiters were very pleasant and attentive. Although I had a disturbed nights sleep, It was pleasant and the bed was comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and on our next trip or wedding in the Satélite area Scala Magna will be our only choice.

This hotel was unique and like going back to the 60's. It's location however was not the friendliest. It was hard to get out of the parking area due to traffic and it's in a very industrial area. Not much to do around there.

Bullet proof glass at the front desk. I was unaware that this hotel was also renting rooms by the hour when I booked it. Very low lighting, I guess is to set the mood. The bed was hard as a rock, remember to bring your own pillows and sheets. Luckly I travel with sandals. Room service was bad, stay away from the cesesr salad and the water union soup. Breakfast was the onliy highlight. My advice stay somehere else.

The hotel needs a lot of work. The bathrooms look old and stained, the shower is the worst. The lightning is terrible if you want to unpack and pack or get ready. They need to change the doors to real doors. The doors have 4 or five little "windows" as decoration and the light comes in all night long, very annoying. The A/C never worked properly...It definitively needs maintenance! However, the room has a safe which is vital for me, the beds are comfortable, I love the fact that the breakfast is included and they bring it to your room without extra charge and the best is the people. They are very nice and always willing to help you with a big smile.
