Hotel is practical for business travellers - no significant sights so if you are a tourist you will find more charming places in the hills near Piacenza. I was to late in arrival to try their evening restaurant. It looks more like a breakfast restaurant ie not particularly “cosy” My room was well clean-keep in mind hotels cleanliness is generally very good in Italy. If not, they loose clients and ultimately close.

Don't expect anything othyer than less than average. The hotel is basic and tired. The first thing you see as you pull off the busy road is that the hotel sign has letters missing. I went along the first half of the corridor out of the lift in the dark because the lights weren't working. The room was of a reasonable size, but sadly no bath in the bathroom, just a shower with a rickety plastic surround. I thought twice about taking my socks off as the carpet was stained and I had to remove 2 (admittedly small) hairs off of the bed sheets. I ate dinner in the hotel - the service was good, but they failed to produce the bill and told me I would get it the next morning at reception. The next morning at the reception when I asked for the breakdown because it was expensive (€33 for a basic house salad, plus €10 tortellini pasta with butter and 2 beers), they were frustrated and said they needed to get it from the kitchen. I had no time to wait, so I left feeling completely ripped off.........The breakfast was basic with such things as orange juice self-served in plastic disposable cups

Jag gillar när rummet har ett STORT badrum som är fräscht. Handdukarna skall vara stora men inte så tjocka till kvaliteten. Detta fick man på Class Hotell Fiera i Piacenza. Personalen var mycket tillmötesgående och talade engelska bättre än vad som är vanligt i Italien. En liten nackdel är det kanske att hotellet ligger en bit från stadskärnan, men det var inte svårt att organisera taxi till och från.
