Highly recommended. The hotel was a block from the escalator flight that comes up from the train station, so no taxi required to transfer. Hotel staff was terrific and the room nicely appointed. I was about a 20-minute walk to the Duomo, almost all of it through the historic medieval city so a beautiful journey.

Excellent clean hotel with a superb buffet breakfast. The front desk staff are excellen;, very pleasant and helpful. The location is excellent, close to the Camolllia Gate into the old town. An aside, every local person we met on the streets when we were in Siena was pleasant and offered help when we looked a little confused with our directions.

Our host was incredibly helpful to our itinerary questions. The breakfast was good. The only minor points to note are the presence of mosquitoes and the shared bathroom, but these are the personal preferences

The hotel is located in a safe area, about 15-20 min walking to the centre. Staff was nice and gave us helpful information on where to park. However, no one helped with the luggage. The shower of the room was dirty with black lines across the tiles. We reported and they cleaned it. The air conditioner was set to 23 degrees Celsius fixed and even when reported nothing changed, it was a hot room in July, with no possiblility of opening the windows because we were next to a parking lot. The breakfast was excellent and great service there.

Great stay at Hotel Italia, a hotel that blends its historical building with a modern feel. Great staff and top tip to park at the train station for 2 euros per 24hrs if there is no room in their small car park. Absolutely recommend this hotel!

We loved Hotel Italia. It was close to a 1 kilometer walk to the real busy part of the city, but we preferred being in a much quieter part of town closer to the train station and enjoy the walking. Escalators to the train station were only a couple hundred meters away. Breakfast was great, with many options. Staff was very friendly and had many good recommendations.

Perfect location for day trips because it is a three minute walk to the train station, which is part of a mall with a big supermarket. The breakfast is wonderful, and the breakfast staff is friendly and kind. Our room was clean and modern with crisp linen. We would stay at Hotel Italia again.

Hotel Italia was the perfect base for our stay in Siena. Five minutes walk from the station and about 10-15 minutes walk from the centre . The room was clean, comfortable and quiet . Excellent buffet breakfast . Very friendly and efficient staff . Would love to return

Excellent hotel. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Executive king room was very nice, shower with good water pressure. Small elevator but worked fine. Easy walk into historic Siena. We traveled by train and directions provided by hotel staff from train station to hotel were spot on. Be aware escalators in shopping mall go on and on! But are efficient in getting you to upper level where road is to hotel. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend! Great restaurant just down the street called Osteria Rusticamente that has from scratch food and reasonable priced. Lovely husband and wife owned.

The bedding was cozy. Breakfast was a delicious spread, with lots to choose from. The Hotel is just a few minutes walk from the train station, and an easy walk to the historic district. The room is clean but very outdated . No charging facilities for phones etc. The safe does not work. Evert time someone flushes a tiolet we can hear all throu the night. Someone in a showere nearby is heard and quite disturbing. I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and the ladies working in the breakfast room were amazing. Breakfast was good. Lots of cakes and sweets, however they could serve few more savoury things like veggie sausages and hushbrawns. The room was small but bed was comfortable. There was a kettle to make tea/coffee but only small paper cups not very good for hot drinks so my suggestion would be to provide proper cups and saucers. The city centre was about 20 min walk, however the bus stop was just outside the hotel. Busses 130, 131,131R will take you to there. All in all lovely hotel and we would definitely stay there again.
