Room marginally clean. Beds a bit like a hammock---just worn out. Bathroom and room floor in poor condition. Wifi weak and sometimes not at all.

Not too bad, it was clean and ideal to come with a dog.

Decent room. Very basic amenities - Towel, Garbage can, Ice bucket and 2 bar soaps. Lots of homeless in the neighborhood but they have security that monitors the parking lot.

Hello, I stayed at Motel 6 Salinas – North Monterey Area on Aug 30–31. The bathtub in my room was extremely dirty and unsanitary. Because of this, we were unable to take a shower at all during our stay. This was unacceptable and made the room unusable for its basic purpose. I am requesting a 100% refund for this stay, as the conditions did not meet minimum cleanliness or health standards. Please confirm when the refund will be issued.

Lots of rooms not ready fir guests when checking in around 415 PM

We left Wednesday morning returned in afternoon. I found the cleaners had been in and taken something they shouldn't have. Went to front desk, clerk was flippant and said it was trash. I explained trash was in trash can and the recycling was put in a different area. However this was taken and should've been left alone. Advised no one to enter our room again till we check our.. i know this is a little crazy but i had put stuff away and that means it wasn't trash...

I did not enjoy my stay with sirens go off at all hours.

I was not aware that I had to submit a second license or ID for my partner as we had lost the wallet and they wouldn't take my information therefore I lost my booking

bad area, too many homeless around, ok hotel, a little dirty , shower head spraying everywhere, random fireworks in the middle of the night. pricey for conditions, but not bad, not too many choices

The hotel was great. Using hotels.com was a mistake. I will never use your service again and will influence others not to use hotels.com for anything

Everything was good just the water to showers it's not hot. I like to shower with hot water and it was no hot. Plus no samples of shampoo or conditioner

Not a great area and room was not what I expected.

First off, I travel often and have stayed at alot of iffy hotels in iffy areas for much less than I paid for this room. $140 before fees and taxes to be exact. This hotel really takes the cake as far as a place that I would never stay at again. I was warned by my friends who live in Salinas that Kern Street was shady but I guess I didn't really pay that much mind until I saw the security officer patrolling the parking lot. I also had to fully document my car and my friend had to present her ID at check in along with my own (I suppose to ensure that we were the only two staying in the room?) According to them, there had been a prostitution bust on this site not too long before we came to stay. Shady, yes but I could still look past it for a comfy night sleep. I understand and appreciate the security measures even though their presence set off some alarm bells and I cant blame a hotel for who stays there. Im grateful they have measures to try to keep guests safe. There wereamenities in the room so dont expect them. No microwave, no fridge, not even a coffee pot. I have paid less than $140 for other hotel rooms in busier ty settings and have ATLEAST had a coffee pot available. Now down to the nitty gritty... The cleanliness of the room: Filthy doors. Semen on nightstand. Dried food under bed. No drain plug in bathtub. Black mold around doors and fire sprinkler. Dried blood/snot/fluid on walls. Massive wad of wet toilet paper stuck to ceiling, spitwad style.
