Cheap and right off the highway and by the gas station

The door didn't latch properly and had to slam it to close it.

The guy who checked us in to our room was very friendly and helpful

Hot water wasn't really working and we struggled to close the curtains completely, so we felt uncomfortable about people being able to peak through the window

Easy to find, easy to park, nice rooms, comfy bed, nice shower, clean, nice tv, kind and friendly personnel.

The morning staff were better than the evening. Breakfast was reasonable.

Problem with the hot water. The receptionist was not helpful when asked questions about the hot water temperature. Said it was not working properly and that was it!

The location was bad! Tuner racing kids up/down the street. Prostitutes across the street. The neighbor slammed his door half of the night. I got hardly sleep. No fruit at breakfast. No water fountain/other at breakfast.

Didn’t know new customers staying had to put a $200 deposit down, bed was a tad bit too firm, breakfast wasn’t that great. Curtains didn’t want to close all the way

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff were prompt in replacing sheets and proactively checked in to see if everything was fine or if anything was needed.

The room was good, but there was no Wi-Fi, and the breakfast served had very limited options with minimal items to choose from. When I checked with the staff about the Wi-Fi and hot water issues, they seemed unaware of the problems and didn’t know how to resolve them or offer any alternatives.

The incredible staff! We met a young man named Ayush that was so extremely helpful & kind. Upon leaving we also met a gentleman named Andy who was also extremely helpful to us. We have been traveling the country & staying in many places & without a doubt these are the type of employees everyone should be lucky enough to have.

This is an older place to stay but they do a great job with what they have. One major thing is the rooms have old carpet. It would be a big improvement if they put down laminate floors.

Customer service

The staff were friendly and the room was clean with comfy beds. We stayed here as it was close enough to Monterey to go whale watching the next morning after I left it too late to get a room closer to the coast.

Ok. So I rate 5 stars based off my own personal preference. My room was clean fresh towels fresh linens didn't smell ac worked fridge and microwave works and this matters because I'm traveling with kids. The pool is clean despite it looking like there is leafs on the bottom it's actually paint chipped off I know because I tried to clean it lol. The people that work in the office, huge shout out to Andy, Alma, and Victoria, Friendly and kind 😇 and I love those kind of people. I hope they get a raise. They deserve it. The bad part. Here it comes. And it's no fault to the staff or the hotel but I feel like u should know. The prostitutes they come out at night. No one harassed us so again I have no complaints but I was hyper aware of their presence on account of my 11 year old daughter. She likes to swim. So we saw them sadly walking up and down the strip. Other then that the hotel was wonderful. U should not dock the staff and hotel for things they seriously cannot control. This was in my opinion a safe clean hotel to stay at while visiting salinas.

It kind of got sketchy at night but no one gave us any problems and we swam until 10pm.

Nice room with a big and comfy bed. Clean clean, fridge, microwave, nice shower, nice and enough towels, quiet enough for a good night sleep, plenty of parking and in the city, in&out Berger and McDonald’s a minute away walking, quick access to hwy 101 and at a good rate

Formal Complaint – Discrimination, Neglect, and Mistreatment During Crisis Stay To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally document a disturbing and discriminatory experience I endured at your property while staying as a disabled individual, a trafficking victim, and someone displaced from a nursing home after four years of medical neglect. I was clear about my circumstances, yet I was repeatedly mistreated, ignored, and denied basic assistance. Here are the key issues that must be investigated: 1. Displacement and Unsafe Conditions I was already displaced from a previous property and was in crisis. I clearly informed your team that I am disabled and a trafficking victim, and I should have been treated with care and urgency. Instead, I was: • Told to “get to the point” when trying to explain my safety concerns. • Denied help with retrieving packages despite being in a wheelchair. • Refused accommodation when I shared that I was detoxing and pouring water into a planter—something I did discreetly and harmlessly. • Shamed by a staff member (possibly named Allen), who made me feel humiliated for my disability and past displacement. • Left without functioning hot water, and when I asked for help, no meaningful response was given. 2. Intentional Obstruction and Isolation I discovered the room phone was unplugged, preventing me from contacting the front desk or receiving help. This was not an accident. I was intentionally cut off from communication while in a vulnerable state. 3. Failure to Acknowledge Human Trafficking I tried to alert staff to suspicious activity and shared what I overheard related to trafficking victims. I was ignored and hung up on. There is a known homeless encampment and trafficking activity nearby, including a bus that transports individuals—I could hear conversations from victims firsthand. No one listened. 4.

the hot water takes 25 to 30 minutes to stay hot cause when I'm trying to take a shower the hot water is come on & off constantly

Clean, comfortable, nice pool, good service! We had a small issue but a manager sorted it out very swiftly and efficiently in a friendly manner until everything was satisfactory! Have seldom experienced that level of service at any hotel!

Wyndham is my go to but this was disappointing. Rooms were clean and had decent amenities. BUT - the bathroom door didn’t lock. Bread had mould.

I'm appreciative that the hotel did let us know by a sign posted that the hot water would take some time. But after being on a softball field & a long drive.. All you want is a hot shower. Other than that, hotel staff friendly, including the cleaning ladies.. and the convenience of the hotel is great. Other than that, one tiny complaint...it's a great location, friendly staff & safe place for even a single parent & child.

Being given a room right by the homeless and being very afraid as I watched a man with a metal pole bashing stuff. Asked to shift rooms and thankfully they put us in a room at the front of the complex. Bedding was marked and should be replaced. Rooms were not soundproof could hear people above and next door. Not a good choice if you have children
