The person tasked with cleaning our room kept making errors. One night, s/he left all the dirty bed sheets and towels in our room, after the room was cleaned. Another time, there were no slippers to be found. Every day, there was something missing.

Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Amazing stay, comfortable atmosphere and always a small walking distance from a good place to grab a bite to eat. If I ever find myself in the city of Austin again, you best believe my stay is going to be at the Austin Proper.

Great food options and cool room. The pool was a bit small and always full, it looked like a motel pool. We payed for late check out which is a bit pricey and they interrupted us twice. Fortunately they refunded half of the fee when we told management.

The Austin proper is super beautiful. I booked this stay as I was intrigued by the Pilates and yoga offered at the property and called early to reserve some classes but was told to do so at the property. When I got there, I was told they had no class offerings for that time which was a big let down as it was the main reason I booked this hotel. The breakfast was amazing but the room service dinner was overpriced and underwhelming. Otherwise, the overall aesthetic and interior design are top tier. In room products are luxurious and attention to detail was on point.
