Our suite with the pull-out couch was spacious and gave our family plenty of room to spread out. While the room itself was a little outdated and the sheets were showing some wear and tear, everything was clean.
On the 2nd day the air conditioning wasn’t working. We notified the front desk, and an employee came within about an hour and fixed the problem quickly.
The pool area was clean, and my kids said the water temperature was perfect. Unfortunately, the chlorine or pool chemical smell was extremely strong the evening we visited. After about 30 minutes, we had to leave because my child with asthma started coughing quite a bit. It’s possible we happened to go shortly after the pool had been treated, so this may not be a regular issue, but it’s something worth mentioning for families with children who have respiratory sensitivities.
Overall, this hotel met our needs for a short stay. The location, spacious room, cleanliness, and responsive staff were definite positives. With a few updates to the rooms and a little attention to the pool’s chemical levels, it would be an even better experience.
