Came to Asheville to visit Biltmore with a friend, something we do several times a year. We have stayed at various hotels and this was by far, the worst. Corners in the room especially the bathroom were caked with dirt, hair, and who knows what else. Almost as bad were the corners in the room. There was only ONE plug that worked in the room!!! No matter how we flipped switches, tried different chargers, etc we were limited to ONE plug. There was a plug in the bathroom but it was by the sink. There was barely enough room to leave a phone to charge it!! The ONE plug was on the table between the beds. We had to unplug the lamp (leaving the room dark except for the bathroom light) to plug in ONE phone. There was a plug bank on the table but only one of the plugs could be used. Very frustrating. Breakfast was a disappointment. Both the coffee and hot water were warm, certainly not hot. On our second morning, the trash appeared to not have been emptied, certainly the trash can wasn't wiped down. The fridge wasn't really cold so there is concern that the food may not have been kept at the proper temperature and could have spoiled. On the upside,it did appear that the tables and counter had been wiped down. The bed and pillows were comfortable, nothing exceptional. I do believe that someone had smoked while in that bed at a previous time. While the hotel is 100% no smoking, I think someone got by with a cigarette. Price was high considering. Will not return.

Had to switch out rooms at the beginning due to a broken toilet, but person at front desk was very accommodating. Long term parking right next to hotel. So it was convenient to get to airport.

This hotel is the worst I have ever been in. Dirty, broken a/c, no wi-fi, key cards that don’t work, hot tub that was cold, washing machine out of order! I asked to change rooms twice! Would not accommodate me as a single person to a first floor room with 2 beds. I would have left if I had not been by myself with no transportation. I should get a refund !

The price and location were perfect. The rooms were ok. We were glad they could accommodate our request for adjoining rooms. The employee at check in was very sweet. Our room didn’t have any Kleenex and the electrical outlet next to the bed was coming out of the wall. Breakfast was very cereal-Otis spunkmeier-y but the coffee was hot and we had to get on the road anyway. Anyone considering a trip to this area, keep in mind there was a catastrophic hurricane that damaged the infrastructure for miles. Many of the guests in this and other surrounding hotels are construction workers, electricians, etc. When hotels house these folks long-term, I understand there is noticeable wear and tear. Overall this property is just OK.

Toilet paper dispenser is missing parts. Shower drain is clogged and water overflows onto bathroom floor. Bed was dirty. My neighbors are workers here on an extended stay and forget that other folks are also here using the property. Very noisy
