Avoid, unclean and a health and safety risk.
This property is advertised as newly refurbished, it is not. The property has several major health and safety concerns. Open sockets, holes in walls, walls falling apart, mould growing in several rooms, the fridge and freezer had left over food and mould init. There were several rubbish bins outside torn apart. The bathroom was filthy, with mould, pubic hair, and clearly had not been cleaned. The carpets had not been hoovered and cutlery was dirty. We also believed bedding had not been washed as it did not smell clean. Raised issues whilst at the property, the host did nothing. Requested a refund host refused. This is false advertisement and the property is not fit for purpose especially young children.

Absolutely terrible! 0 stars would definitely not recommend
Nothing, wasn’t as advertised and we left. Requested a full refund and this was refused.
Upon arriving and entering the property, we could smell damp. We decided it could just be because it’s cold outside and the heating wasn’t on. The children went upstairs to find their rooms, and we continued to unload the cars after a 3hr drive. First thing we noticed was the heating in the front room wasn’t working, so we put our minds together and tried to figure it out, unfortunately nothing we tried worked. I contacted the host about the issue, they were quick to respond however not helpful to fix the problem. We decided it wasn’t the end of the world and we left the door open hoping it would heat the room enough. Whilst dealing with the heating issue, unpacking had started in the kitchen, the first thing we noticed was orange juice and pack of raspberries left in the fridge, again… not the end of the world so we disposed of them. We then noticed that the fridge wasn’t cleaned, nor the microwave, nor the oven… and I don’t think I need to list them all as it would be easy to tell you what was clean! (The kitchen table…. That’s it!) As we cleaned the kitchen we then noticed that the carbon monoxide detector was on top of the cupboard, we then realised it didn’t have batteries… the search began for the smoke alarm… which we found in the draw… you guessed it… without any batteries! (this was because as we turned the cooker on the smell from the oven overwhelmed the kitchen!) My friend then wanted to put the recycling somewhere to which we realised no recycling bin (which then found outside by the broken garden furniture) however we then found behind the kitchen bin and old socket for the washing machine (which was also advertised and not in the property) which had wires exposed. Fantastic! As it was getting dark we turned on the lights so we could warm up so food prepared at home. The lights in the kitchen echoed that of 1700 street lighting through candle lamps! Lucky in the living room we found a lamp which we placed in the kitchen so we could see our food.

Appalling
Didn’t enjoy my stay
Wouldn’t recommend at all, mould, damp, loads bin bags outside back door, cooker absolutely stinking dirty, payed £194 for 2 nights, 2 adults 1 child but when I come to book it said I could have whole house for £224 as was coming for from away to spend with family and as they where going to stay I booked the house, got there and some bedrooms where locked when I confronted and asked he said I only paid for 2 adults 1 child, which was only £194 when asking where is my other money as I paid £224 they ignored it and made out they didn’t understand, absolute scam of a place

Not happy with the cleaning but property has potential
Property got allot of potential with plenty of space.
Bed sheets were stained and dirty in 2 bedrooms quite clearly haven’t been changed. Little mould in 1 of the rooms. Paint flaking off walls in hallway, clump of hair left in bathroom plus mould in shower also bags of trash left out by back door in garden.

Could be a great house with a bit extra cleaning.
Brilliant location, lots of room in the house
Bathroom was dirty, had to clean toilet and bath (full of hairs) before use, sink and mirror was dirty. Empty shampoo bottles left behind and a used razor on the side of the bath. Floor was dusty and dirty. All kitchen items had to be washed before using them. Blind was on the floor in bedroom which needed to be fixed by my daughter

Uncomfortable
The location and value were on point. Right on the water and not too far from the places we wanted to visit. Freshwater Beach, Pembroke Castle etc The host answered questions quickly. He was also willing to accommodate an early check in. Parking was convenient and lots of shops near by.
The house had a horrible smell that would not shift no matter how much we cleaned. The fact that we had to come and sweep, mop floors and clean the bathroom and microwave was deplorable. Especially after being told we couldn’t check in early because it wasn’t ready. The paint was chipping off of the walls, the beds were uncomfortable, I did not sleep well both nights. If I could’ve left the same night I would’ve, a complete waste of my money. The previous guest obviously had a dog. The bath tub was brown and there was poo residue in the toilet. I tried to avoid being in the house to get away from the smell. The windows also didn’t close and the rug in the living room was filthy. I Utensils in the draw were dirty. I cannot in good conscience give this place a good review. The pictures I saw was not what we had in person. The chairs on the kitchen were stained and filthy.
