It was a beautiful restored barn the sort you see on TV sometimes.

Excellent location, excellent hosts and great little cottage. Friendly animals onsite including dogs and cats. Site is dog friendly (athough we personally didnt bring one)
Good wifi, tv available, dishwasher and washing machine. Fridge and mini freezer, outdoor seating, swing set for kids, local pubs are amazing and short distance away (highly recommend the "castle inn" for food- also dog friendly)
Scenery is beautiful and cottage is plenty big for a couple or family!
Lovley and fantastic overal, only tiny suggestion is mattress comfortability to be improved for staying longer than 2 or 3 nights (with maybe just a thicker topper rather than whole replacment if mattress not old?), but overall still a soild 8/10, Excellent and highly recommend and will be back! We really enjoyed our weekend ♡

Wonderfully quiet location, and wonderfully dark at night - the stars were wonderful. Clean, tidy cottage and very friendly hosts.
No big complaints. (Small one, September was getting a bit chilly, so the 4.5Tog Duvet was only just acceptable.)
