The cottage was a beautiful old stone building converted to holiday accomodation. It was comfortable and had plenty of space and all the facilities we needed. The grounds were lovely - great if you have kids with you and we liked the peace and quiet out in the countryside. The hosts were great too - plenty of information and friendly communications.
We loved that the cottages were well away from everything, but just for future visitors, be aware you need to be able to drive to get to the beach/shops.

All amenities included (including tea and coffee, also some milk on arrival is a very helpful touch).
A lovely welcome gift of a local delicacy was also appreciated.
The location was nice and relaxed in the middle of the countryside with no traffic sounds or noisy neighbours.
Lots of room in the cottage for a family, my little girl absolutely loved the open green space outside to run around in (perhaps the play equipment I spied could also be opened up to visiting families?)
Loads of beaches within an easy 15-20 min drive.
Also a strange thing of note, but the toilet paper provided was not skimped on. Just so the owners know these touches are noticed ;-)
Just the general negatives with living in the countryside, such as moths and flies, and of course the distance to amenities, just in case anyone was expecting something super local for shops etc. But these shouldn't be a surprise when choosing such a location and didn't negatively affect my experience.
Don't make my mistake and aim for the Costcutter; it's on the military base and not accessible for normies.

A cozy heritage row cottage set in spacious grounds, within easy striking distance of everything in Pembrokeshire. Welcoming and friendly host with lots of tips and information for exploring the area, including the use of ordinance maps for the more intrepid coastal walker! We had a wonderful 5 nights and wished we could stay another week - highly recommended…

Cottage was dog friendly and great option for a short stay. Little kitchen had everything needed, and dog was super happy downstairs.
Like many places in the area out of the main towns/villages services are all 15-20 min drive, but that can also be a good thing.

The perfect hideaway for a relaxing peaceful holiday while still being close to many beautiful sights on the Pembrokeshire coast. The cottage is clean and comfortable and has everything you need.
Thank you Henry for being such a nice host!

the place is very lovely, tranquil, quiet and in a very lovely location with close proximity to areas of interest and amenities. the house was very clean and well prepared for guests.
the host was super-chilled and very helpful with knowledge of the local area and helping us with tips on local walks scenes and areas of interest.
the front door was very difficult to open or close and needed a lot of force, power and strength to lock and unlock every time. everything else was fantastic.

The location is remote which made it incredibly peaceful but it is also really close to Solva (about 10 mins) which is pretty and has a decent choice of places to eat and St. David's (about 15 mins). Also great access to the coastal path for walking. The Nogg Cottage properties and surrounding areas (patios, gardens etc. ) are attractive and well-maintained. The property was comfortable, cosy and very clean. Henry was welcoming, accessible and helpful.
There is nothing which would stop me recommending this place to other potential guests.

Lovely property, perfect for a couple. Had everything we needed for a week’s holiday.
Due to the toilet being under the eaves you may struggle as a man to stand straight if you are male.

Nogg cottages are in a beautiful location very tranquil lots of birds and beautiful scenery. Henry the owner checked we were happy and was available if required, nothing was too much trouble. The cottages are well equipped so that makes the stay stress free and comfortable. The cottages are set so that everyone has privacy which was just what we wanted. All we wanted to see on coast was within short driving distance! It was like returning home in the evenings.

The peaceful location, private garden which our dogs loved. The friendliness and helpful of the host.
Beds were too hard, however that may be just me as have had a cervical spine op so prefer softer bed.

The cottage is really well equipped, comfortable and tastefully decorated. There’s a courtyard outside with a table and umbrella for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening (or any time). Henry was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived.

the location was exceptional an absolute dream . total peace . very safe .couldn’t wait to get back every day

no breakfast was provided
The bathroom was ridiculously small as was the shower that we could barely fit into, it's the smallest bathroom and shower we've ever experienced. TV is also very small and it would be nice if tissues and body wash could be supplied as well.

Yet another great location this time to explore the beautiful Welsh coast. Nogg Cottages are amazing. 3 converted buildings all individual and separate. We understand some people have found it hard to find but we had no issues with our satnav/googlemaps using postcode SA626NA. The properties are stunning and set in large grounds which all can use. Its so peaceful with zero traffic noise and only the birds to keep you company. The lanes leading to it are narrow but there are plenty of passing places and we had no issues at all. There are all the amenities you could ever want inside especially if eating in and plenty of accessories ie dishwasher/washing machine tablets etc. Each property has its own outside area as well to soak up the sun and eat/drink. It is located approx 4 miles from Solva and 6 miles from St Davids both worth a visit although Solva is only small. We completed 4 walks during our stay and saw some amazing views. We would recommend the circular walk at Whitesands beach past the Lifeboat station and the walk between Abereidy and Porthgain, simply stunning. We ate out at the Cumbrian Inn (Solva) and The Sloop (Porthgain) both lovely meals and reasonably priced. Parking is not too expensive at c£1 an hour with most £5/£6 for all day (but do take plenty of change as all the machines we used only took cash). It is our first visit to the south of Wales and we will be back. Its too beautiful not to see again.
The only negative, we could have done with a small wardrobe to hang clothes and a few more coat hangers. Not a big issue for us.

Attractive well equipped cottage. Wonderful quiet location. Very restful to lie in the bath listening to birdsong. Spacious grounds.
Mattress on the bed could have been more comfortable. Otherwise perfect for me.

Everything!! Just delightful. We stayed in The Stable, perfect size for two!
Loved it. Peaceful, comfortable, spotless, everything you need to hand. A comprehensive guide on places to go and instruction booklets on use of appliances. Good advice from Henry to use google maps to find it therefore we got straight there even in the dark! Our little dog was in heaven sniffing around the huge garden. Definitely would love to stay again.

Really cosy, comfortable, clean with everything you would need for a few days away. The information on the local area was extremely useful, we visited beaches, cafes and pubs all recommended and they didn't disappoint. Hosts were very helpful and on hand if needed. Couldn't fault our cottage and would certainly visit again.

Beautiful quiet location. Lovely comfortable cottage with fabulous bedding and a lovely ensuite.
Small 1 bed cottage was very homely and just perfect for the two of us & our dog.
Some great suggestions for places to eat also.
Took a little while to get the downstairs to warm up (though it is February!), the TV is small and a few extra utensils in the kitchen wouldn't go amiss. But these are very nit-picky comments - overall the cottage is just lovely.

A beautiful ‘retreat’ from the stress & strain of everyday life. The cottage is close to the beautiful coastline of Pembrokeshire & within easy distance of Solva & St David’s.

Such a peaceful quiet location - perfect place to recharge the batteries! Easy reach of the stunning Pembrokeshire coastal walk and some lovely beaches.
It would help to have a rail or some hooks to hang up clothes in the bedroom and liners in the drawers.
