Little Nest - Old Town - AC - Wifi

This unit is neat and tidy with a/c, WiFi and a washing machine. The little snacks, full size kitchen and openable skylights are a bonus. Chorinè and her team were also excellent communicators.

Some people may find the top floor position with no elevator challenging. The bathroom may also not suit larger individuals. However, this is old town and France after all.

Really sweet little top-floor apartment right in the heart of old town. You can walk practically everywhere from there. The bed was comfortable, and it had a fully appointed kitchen and equipment available. Basic toiletries and a bottle of wine with some simple snacks was provided. Access to ironing board, washing machine, clothes horse, tv etc. Airconditioning worked great! Very nicely styled as well and felt very homey.

The ad mentions it's an upper floor unit, and the photos show this - we didn't realise how low the ceilings were though and my husband knocked his head quite a few times 😅 that's no biggy, just a note if you're tall. Although it's clear that it's a top floor unit, the ad does fail to state that it's about 5 flights of stairs up. I have some dynamic mobility issues and this was a struggle for me on some days, but we managed. My poor husband had to do many laps up and down with our luggage because I was unable to help with the weight due to the amount of steps. We were thinking it was maybe 2-3 flights of steps max, but it was 90+ stairs and 5 floors. Reading other reviews in hindsight, I can see this has been mentioned before. Chorine, our wonderful and very helpful host, helped us carry our bags up the steps when we checked in which we greatly appreciated (merci!). The included breakfast on the advertising photos didn't match what we received, it was very basic and definitely didn't constitute what we would consider even as a light breakfast. It was mostly snacks, although we were still appreciative as it was yummy! It wasn't enough for a two night stay, more as a welcome treat. The hot water system is very small, and we unfortunately ran out of hot water just from short showers on both nights that we stayed. There was a small amount of mold in the unit which set off some allergies for us too, however we have experienced this across most of Europe even in hotels and it's unfortunately fairly unavoidable in most instances. Whilst the bed was comfortable, the pillows weren't great and we both had sore necks and shoulders. In saying all of this, the pros of the location and the atmosphere far outweighed the cons, however we would like to see the ad updated so that it is explicitly clear for future guests who might also have mobility issues to understand fully just how many stairs are there.

Location is fabulous, centre of old town close to transport, cafe/restaurants, bars, shops, beach etc Apartment was clean & cosy. Good kitchen & cold fridge. Plenty of teas/coffees provided.

Apartment is on 5th floor - 88 stairs. Not for unfit guests or those with mobility problems. Apartment is very bijou. Bathroom is tiny, barely get door closed when using WC plus no sink. Have to use kitchen sink for hand washing & cleaning teeth. No real breakfast, as such, provided. Total of 4 bread snacks, 2 crisps & 2 apple juice left - for 2 guests x 4 days.

The location is perfect. Right in the heart of the old town! It’s small but it perfectly formed. Air con in the room is good (just make sure you empty the water every day to prevent leaking!) Bed is comfy too.

5 flights of stairs so brace yourself! The bathroom is very small so please be aware if you’re a larger person! We were fine (shower good etc) but just be warned that it’s so tiny there’s no sink in there.
