Great location convenient for so many local attractions and great facilities for families

Great facilities and thoughtful host who had thought of lots of little touches and welcoming provisions to truly make it a home away from home. Gorgeous terrace views despite the convenient central location with everything you might need nearby. Super comfortable accomodation with lovely decorative and practical touches. The extra toilet downstairs is very useful for a larger group! Host was lovely, very helpful and prompt with any queries- thanks Rachel!

Great property, great location. We will return!

The maisonette was well equipped (including milk and Prosecco in the fridge) and very comfy. The place felt like home from home, was warm, with great decor and it was a great place to meet up with our family. We met up in Matlock to visit Chatsworth so it was the perfect location but it also was a great place to relax for an evening in. Very well situated in the town - great pizza at D’Alessandro’s just up the road and fabulous Sourdough Dave’s bakery/cafe nearby all made for a great stay.

The owner's attention to detail and generous festive decoration made our Christmas stay wonderful.

We rented this cottage for our family Christmas holiday. It was superb, the owners had decorated the place beautifully which really added to the homely feeling for the week. The facilities are great, the apartment is comfortable, and everything works well. We have rented the Matlock Maisonette before and expect to do so again in the future. Thank you for another wonderful stay. Parking was easy, it's a five minute walk down into the historic centre and has all the shops, supermarkets, coffee houses close by.

Perfect for visiting the Christmas market.

Very clean, well equipped and the attention to detail was brilliant. As was the welcome bottle of fizz, milk and snacks.

Excellent accommodation!

Spacious and comfortable. Very well maintained and equipped. Lovely deck area for relaxing outside, short walk in to town. Overall an excellent property with lovely views, the perfect spot for a relaxing break.

The water pressure in the shower was very low and the cubicle was quite small. Nowhere to really put things down in the bathroom. I contacted the owner about check in and parking but didn’t get a response.

Lovely bright clean comfortable apartment in a great location.

A few head bumps on the low stairs to the upper floor! Beware! Entrance way doesn’t reflect the quality of the apartment overall.
