Victorian Guest House 200m from the Seafront

Very convenient, quiet and peaceful.

The vibe was that of being a house guest in someone's beautiful home. The owners were welcoming and friendly but kept themselves in the background. I was free to use the dining room and tranquil garden whenever I wanted, although as I was on my own I didn't use the facilities to the full. The dining room with its huge table and comfortable seating would be a great place for friends to gather for a cosy evening in, playing one of the many games left out, drinking the honesty box wine, and even eating take away food; crockery, microwave supplied. The bedroom I had was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bathroom similarly stunning. The property is in a quiet street, conveniently near restaurants and the waterfront. West Kirby station with an excellent service to Liverpool and more places to eat and shop a 10 to 15 minute walk on flat ground. As stated in the information on the listing, breakfast is laid out and consists of cereals, bread and preserves - there is a toaster - along with juice, coffee, teas etc and if you're there at the right time of year a bowl of plums picked fresh from the garden.

Nothing, but a tip, the pink room is nearest to the bathroom.

Clean , spacious, ideal location.

The location, our room, comfortable bed and the high standard of the interior decor

The breakfast was too limited and there was no regular cleaning of the room while we were there. The accommodation was more akin to an Air B and B which is not what we booked
