Ideal location,close to all transport links.A well furnished and equipped bijoux apartment with a dedicated parking space which was a real bonus.No shortage of bars,restaurants and cafes to choose from,all within easy walking distance.

The location was good and the area is nice. The bathroom was good and had new fittings and the shower worked well. The kitchen had a dishwasher which worked.
The heating for the property didn't work and I was supplied with 1 plug in heater and a further heater once I complained. The curtains in the property were coming off the rails and the painting was chipped and worn.
The kitchen had an extractor hood that was not wired or connected which meant cooking was problematic. There are plastic plants which were covered in dust and this was not good. The communal washing machine / dryer was very dirty and I opted to go the launderette instead.
I have previously stayed in the penthouse which was much better.

The Quadrant is in an excellent location. We arrived by car and had the benefit of a private parking space. Right by Hoylake Railway Station (no rail noise as on the other side of the building) we were able to take trains around the Wirral and to Liverpool. There is also an excellent local bus service right outside. The apartment is on Market Street Hoylake where there are local shops and also cafes, bars and restaurants. The seafront is five minutes' walk away.
Communication before our stay was very good and access easy with a door code and key in a lock box. Eastgate, who manged the property, were very responsive.
The apartment was very comfortable for two of us with everything we needed for a five day stay with good cooking facilities.
None, we enjoyed our stay.

Location.
Very Cold and heating not inadequate. Fridge was totally frosted and not usable. Cheap bed with very light quilt which isn’t appropriate for winter months. Kettle was full of limescale.

It was clean and really nicely decorated. It had a small kitchen with everything you needed if you wanted to cook bit so many places to eat nearby. Really great location with train station on doorstep if you wanted to go into Liverpool. There is parking at back of property but also plenty around the streets too. I would definitely recommend.
The backdoor seemed to be locked so couldn’t get back in using the code.
Curtains were difficult to open as they seemed to be stuck. These are really picky things and would definitely stay again.

Good location, near to station for trains to Chester and Liverpool.
Property was clean on arrival.
Very poor communication. I sent an email pointing out various issues on the Sunday and didn't hear back from Eastgate Living until the Tuesday. When I spoke to them later in the week, it seems they sort of triage complaints and we were obviously not a priority. Surely, in the hospitality business, every customer should feel important?
The 'office' seems to be a corner of a coffee shop in Chester, where I went to register my complaints after inadequate responses via email. I think they are overstretched. Perhaps they need to take on more staff?
What were my issues? First of all, very bad customer service as I've already mentioned. They didn't really seem to care.
The flat looked very nice but there were various maintenance issues, such as the curtains hanging badly, the window in the bedroom being shut fast so we couldn't open it, a light bulb missing from one of the bedside lamps and the toilet roll holder in the bathroom hanging off the wall.
There was no bread knife and only one pan, no spare rubbish bags and only one tea towel for a ten-night stay.
To be fair, they sent a lovely young man - Sam - to deal with some of the problems but he could not sort out the bedroom window or rehang the curtains properly and didn't fix the toilet roll holder. I got the impression that they would not be in a hurry to remedy these matters any time soon. I wonder what the next guests thought?
The bathroom looks very smart but the shower is not wonderful.

The apartment was beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean
The apartment was cold and mouldy, and the host uninterested in fixing the issues.
On arrival the apartment was extremely cold (12 degrees) and took 10 hours to warm up to an acceptable temperature (18 degrees). This was very stressful for us since we were travelling with a 4 month old baby and it was too cold for her to sleep. I lost a whole nights sleep the first night we were there soothing her and keeping her warm.
Because the apartment had issues with water ingress and has been left at a very cold temperature for extended periods of time black mould has grown in the main bedroom. The water ingress must have been known as you could see where it has previously been painted over. We were therefore unable to use this bedroom the entire visit and kept the door closed due to health concerns for our small baby, this caused me a lot of stress and meant we did not get access to the entire space we paid for.
I messaged the host who simply said they “had never been informed of mould”. After sending the requested proof I just never heard from them again about this issue. Not even an apology or acknowledgment that this is not the standard they would expect.
The entrance to the apartment also has a leak coming through a light fitting which is a fire risk. We spotted this as we were leaving.
I see other reviews raised issues about the cold and on google there are other bad reviews of the host company. It seems the host is not interested in fixed the issues raised by guests.
