Due to the cold, we needed heaters and electric blankets but electricity tripped. Fortunately Janine was excellent to solve the problem with new heaters brought in.

The authenticity was incredible. Even if it got a bit cold, the fireplace added lots of comfort and a lovely substitute for a TV screen. the cast iron stove is fantastic; maybe just more kindling required to operate it continually
perhaps complementary firewood rather than pay as you use. even if just 3 bags a night.

The U it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Two full bathrooms for our group to share. Electric blankets was definitely a spoil in winter.
