The location is spectacular
Unfortunately, there was construction work going on when we were there, so not as peaceful as we'd hoped for. Also, a strong wind was blowing when we arrived (not the host's fault!) but it meant that the dust was really bad and coated everything outside. Although the host offered to stop with digging a services trench right outside our accommodation, we didn't really feel we could say no which exacerbated the dust and was noisy.
The kitchen facilities are really basic. There needs to more crockery, cutlery, serving dishes etc and plastic wine glasses are really tacky. A small upgrade would make a big difference. Also, we couldn't work the plug in cooking plate. Luckily we were able to cook everything on the braai but that was a challenge with the dust.
