It's quite central with amazing views of funchal from the roof. A parking area is very close to the accommodation.
To get to the house there are 2 very steep hills. You have to park in the car park below no parking available close to the house

Petite maison agréable, bien équipée et bien située à 10min à pieds du centre de Funchal. Vue magnifique de la terrasse du rooftop ! On a adoré !
Petit bémol si l'on a une voiture a garer : il est très compliqué de trouver une place de parking dans le quartier car quasiment toutes les places sont réservées aux résidents (places M) et la police passe régulièrement avec la fourrière... Cela dit on y arrive quand même avec de bons mollets pour grimper les ruelles 🙂.

Pedro communicated well and was really flexible for check-in. This went as far as him adding the facility of a lock box for self check-in after midnight. Very clean with lots of indoor and outdoor space for four people. The welcome pack of wine and biscuits was appreciated. There is a "blue" car park close by. When coupled with the local parking app, it provides a convenient facility for those hiring a car.
As others have mentioned, there is a hill to the home but this is common on the island. Taxis are relatively cheap if you want to avoid the walk
