Excellent location. Steps away from Plaza Madeira. There’s a supermarket inside the plaza if you need to get groceries called Pingo doce. We don’t know there was one nearby and went all the way to the marina. Please note that the description of the Vila is 500 meters from the beach is misleading. There’s no beach except that there a marina and walkable promenade.
The people managing the Vila was unresponsive despite calling a few times despite having the tel nos. provided by them to call for any issues. We were stuck waiting for the door code sent to us for nearly half an hour. We had to send emails and what’s app before getting a response. We didn’t check in online coz we were travelling but did tell them that we arrived around 7pm-8pm. Considering they already taken our payment, at least they could let us know the door code and which flat in advance. There’s also only one coffee cup in the cabinet and my husband had to drink his coffee from a bowl.

Very convenient location, just walking distance from city center, the port and the transportation facilities. An extravagant shopping center is just a few steps. The building is well maintained, having good impressions from the beginning. The apartment is clean and kitchen amenities are well arranged. The balcony is a superb extra for breakfast or evening wining.
No negative impressions.
