About this apartment rental
Top Floor Apartment in Funchal Centre with Two Balconies. Recently been restored. Very quiet although in the center of Funchal. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies with nice views of the Madeira landscape and the sea. Two bedrooms have doors opening onto one of the balconies with views over the rooftops, the mountains, the church and a glimpse of the sea. The apartment has air conditioning an Netflix. It is situated in Funchal Centre, just behind La Vie Shopping Centre including a 24/7 pharmacy and a supermarket opened every day of the week. Even though the apartment is close to the center it is quiet in the evenings and through the night. 10 minutes flat walking distance from the Cathedral, Santa Catarina Park and Municipal Garden, the Ritz Café, the Theatre Café and The Golden Gate Grand Café or the Marina where most buses stop. Car parking is in the street by pay meters.

Normally we travel to Portugal in May but August this time. The property is very, very nice and convenient but lacks AC. Just open the screened doors later in the day and it will cool down.

A lovely flat in a good position in central Funchal. Easy walk down to the harbour or up to the convents, museums etc. And close to the English church with its peaceful garden. Good views from the balconies. Very comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. Close to La Vie supermarket, and restaurants and bars. Maria Pia took us to and from the airport so everything was easy. Thank you, and to Elsa too. See you next year.

The property is in a great central location for shopping, food, restaurants and the heart of Funchal. Excellent apartment with everything you could need. Spacious and well presented. Lots of storage space and linens supplied.
