Very good sized apartment in a good location, within walking distance to the marina, old town, restaurants and a nearby shopping centre with a supermarket. Simple check in process via a door code. Very quiet in the evenings. The shower is large but due to the set up the water does spill over as there is no shower door. The apartment got warm which was ok in April with the plug in fan but would likely be too hot in the summer with no air con

Unit was clean & had all amenities needed for a medium length stay. Parking was very difficult as the limited street parking near the building was almost always full — one afternoon it took nearly 1hr to find parking. Apartment we were provided did not match Expedia pictures & did not have a balcony. Funchal area is a good home-base, but would stay further outside of the town center if visiting Madeira again to avoid parking issues as the majority of our time was spent outside of the city anyway.

Brilliant location, really great apartment. Nice and modern and clean. If you want to use the sofa bed you have to specfically tell them ahead of time and we didnt so the bed wasnt made up but we called them and their communication was brilliant and they did it very quickly. Mariana at customer services was very helpful you also need to ensure you have the code to check in we didnt so we had to call when we arrived too. Overall though great aprtment and and I do recommend.
