Stayin Arrifes II D

Everything is new and clean. Excellent water pressure in the shower (though I would add some shelves in the bathroom). Everything needed for cooking, ironing, and laundry is provided. An unforgettable, fairytale-like view. We stayed in Apartment D.

The only downside is the location on a narrow street. Taxis can't drive right up to the entrance, so you have to walk a few meters up a steep incline. I imagine this might not be very comfortable for older people. Personally, though, I found it good for my health—a way to burn off the extra calories from the wonderful food in Funchal.

very good value for money, very aesthetic and well decorated, view is incredible, great amenities incl. washing machine and pods, hosts were incredibly responsive

location was up multiple huge hills, there was no air-con and we had to request a fan (which unfortunately only made it hotter), bathroom is very small, neighbours dogs barked all through the night every night (ear plugs helped a lot!)
