Madeira Emotions II, By OP

We had a late check-in & owner sent a very helpful video on how to get into the block & apartment. Bedrooms were @ the back of the apartment, so were very quiet. Apartment more spacious than expected. Was near the centre of Funchal-15 min walk or bus stop was a few yards from the apartment. The living room had air conditioning. The utility area had a washing machine with 15min cycle, also airer, iron & ironing board. This was handy for anyone staying longer than a week. The dishwasher had English instructions as did the pod coffee maker.

The fridge was not very efficient & did not keep food or drink very cold. The beds were firmer than one would have liked, mattress topper would be good. The button on toilet flush in shower room was missing. Shower a bit snug, was easy to turn off or adjust flow inadvertently when turning or moving in the shower. No lampshades in the living room made it look a little like an operating theatre. The kitchen could have done with a few more food prep knives & a chopping board. Could do with some TLC in places.

Het is een ruime en schone appartement.

Fully, fully equipped apartment. It was very clean and we had excellent communication with Pedro. You have also a parking lot in a garage if you need it.

Wifi is not so strong in the bedrooms, but at the end it didn't bother us much.
