A casa estava muito limpa, toda remodelada e equipada com tudo o que é preciso. A cozinha é muito funcional e completa. Para além de tudo isto tem garagem própria que faz toda diferença. Na altura da receção fomos recebido com um “welcome gift” pelo proprietário, gesto muito bonito de boas- vindas.

We were met by the owner (João) and then given a short tour and explanation; there were also nice and tasty snacks waiting for us. The bungalow has all amenities and is very neatly maintained. There is nothing to fault regarding the bungalow or the welcome. The location is centrally situated and within walking distance of the city center of Funchal.
If we have to mention a negative point, it is the location. You are right in the middle of the local population, which is of course not a problem. However, work needs to be done, and there was a renovation going on at the neighbors' house, which caused a lot of noise early in the morning. Now, we are not late sleepers on vacation, so we were always up early. But this can be annoying for some people.
