Everything! Such a cute and cosy living space. Fab location, which was a bonus.

Walking distance from high street shops but cottage location was quiet, perfect for short breaks. Inside is welcoming; there is a bee theme to the lounge and kitchen and there were chilled milk sachets in the fridge, complimentary cookies, ice cubes in the freezer. Just inside the front door there is a bulletin board with local takeaway menus and a dresser with games. There is a spacious upstairs dressing room so that you don't have to keep luggage in the bedroom. Bedroon has bedside lights on both sides with USB ports and shelving just the right size for mobile phones, books or earbuds

Everything was fine for us, but if you have difficulty climbing stairs the staircase has narrow, slightly deeper steps and might not be the right choice for you. If you planned to come and go by car a lot during your stay, parking is on the road and one side of the car needs to be tucked tight against the side of buildings or fences because Mill Lane is narrow and traffic surprisingly busy

Great location to Hazel Gap Barn to attend a family wedding. Bed was very comfortable as was the sitting room. Kitchen was very well equipped on the most part. Super little garden for the pleasant weather. Edwinstowe is a pretty little village with good eateries and all people we encountered were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The smallest of things really, but would have appreciated a cafetiere.

The cottage was clean and well equipped. Quaint and quirky. Reasonable location for what I needed. I can understand why others like this cottage

The property was described as having parking. However, the only parking was on a narrow, fairly busy road. This meant parking as close as possible to the wall at the edge of the road - so you could not access that side of the vehicle. This was a real problem, especially with the dog. I struggled to get water out of the shower and what I could get was freezing cold. Not very useful in mid-December. The stairs are steep and twisty.
