Although I had codes to the locks on the gates, the owner was present to receive me and opened the unit and briefly showed me the unit. The unit was well equipped in terms of furniture and other appliances, and the TV was on a neutral channel. The unit was very well prepared in terms of neatness and facilities. I sensed a very faint, pleasant fragrance in the room. There was also a complimentary bottle of wine in the fridge. All the appliances in the kitchen are almost new and of a high standard. A proper cleaning service was rendered on the second day of my stay, whereas most institutions only come to clean after one vacates the room. Furthermore, a laundry service was rendered on a Sunday! On the Sunday afternoon, the owner also offered some soft drinks to me and some other guests. The owner also forwarded a comprehensive list of amenities in town, such as information of restaurants and different shops, which makes live slightly easier for visitors. I also need to point out that this guesthouse provides high quality two-ply toilet paper, whereas many facilities provide extra-thin, low quality, "steal-me-if you-want-to" toilet paper!
The unit offers a proper built-in braai/barbeque facility.
On my day of departure, a construction team arrived at the premises to further upgrade the facilities.
If I have to list something, I will indicate that the combination-lock of the main gate can be quite a challenge at night!

Very comfortable (notwithstanding the heatwave…there was a great aircon); very cute. Friendly and generous host. She had recommended restaurants with decent air conditioning (It was 42degrees when we were there). Clanwilliam was a nice town and we checked out the House of Rooibus before leaving.
Nothing not to like. Perfect for two. (It may be a bit crowded around the bistro table and in the „kitchen area“ if there were more than two.)

Our host Adele was wonderful. She had several good tips where to go and when we did a 'braai' we got from her home made pickled beets, green beans and pasta salad.
