The Stayover was ok, but small improvements can make a difference in the experience.

The location

We collected the keys by reception, but there was a R250 cash deposit that we had to pay for the keys, which we wasn't informed about within the booking proses. People do not carry cash around and ATM facilities are not available. The chalet that we were booked into doors heights are abnormal low and I have injured myself. The are a lot of insects and no provision is made for insects control .

A Taste Of Farm Life.

The buildings and rooms were very rustic and farm style, which suited me . Because our stay was out of season and midweek, it was total bliss having no neighbours. The swimming pool was awesome, with luke warm water. The breakfast which we had was excellent, and good value for money, with a magnificent restaurant setting. Furthermore the venue was easy to find, and the staff was very hospitable, always going the extra mile. Thank you Vensterklip for making our stay a pleasant one.

The downside unfortunately was the power cuts, which was unfortunate, but not the venues doing.
