Enjoyable and exactly what we needed for our one night stay.

The facilities for the kids were great and unexpected. As a self catering unit the cottage had everything you required for a short stay. The provision of some firewood was also nice.

One of the mattresses in the bedroom (the single bed) is clearly worn in the middle and will need to be replaced. The fridge (whilst working) needs to be looked at as some of the shelving units kept falling out when we opened it.

Serene stay away from the city hustle and bustle with minor unpleasant surprises

The roaches, many mostly in the kitchen when I asked for doom as the can was empty I got a response to say the units are self catering. A big part of the back of the couch was also broken and when I sent a pic the response was a surprised face emoji, no apologies or messages in this regard. Also the mini oven couldn't be used because it tripped the electricity, and the frying pan plug is also broken/button loose so cannot adjust temperature. Also did not specify that the main bedroom had a double bed with a bunk bed in the room, I also had to enquire wether there is bedding and towels the day before as I had not received any details besides the booking confirmation. The open toilet in the room is also a bit of a bother. The place is nice, I just think that they should be more specific so one knows what to expect and the pictures should be more specific to each unit as it is currently all jumbled so you don't know which is which. I don't hope I am going to get a roach infection from them with the things we took with and brought back

We loved this place from the moment we got there, the kids enjoyed themselves and the setting was just perfect. We will definitely be coming again and the host of this gem of a place is kind and genuine ❤️ see you guys very soon! It is a fantastic place neat, well equipped, tastefully themed, beds are very comfy, the owner is super friendly and accomodating. The area is beautiful very accomodating for kids, lovely outdoors farm feeling.

I hesitate to criticize, but constructively I would suggest maybe a solar solution for load shedding times. From 6-10pm we had no electricity, so the wifi and lovely outfitted kitchen was of no use to us. It was a bit strange to see the main house with an alternative energy supply and then the guest houses in dark.

THE STABLES REVIEW

Staying at the Stables was the most refreshing experience I've made this year. The scenery(I.e., The Springboks) the comfortability of the Queen Caravan and its hominess was magical. I would fully recommend anyone to book there.

The beds were comfortable, the secenery was nice with all the animals and it is not far from amenities

The fan in the main bedroom did not work, i would suggest installing an aircon as it gets really hot in the cottage, I would not book there for more than one night as one would die of heat exhaustion. The cottage was not the cleanest as we found a few roaches in the cottage, there was also blood on our bedding in the main room which is unacceptable.

A break away from the hustle and bustle

There's so much to like about this place! Decor is extremely beautiful! Love love love. You lack nothing when you stay at the cottage, host as thought of everything that u may want and need while stay with them. From the books you can read, to flipping through old magazines, playing board games with loved ones, sitting outside on the veranda, or having a braai. The bedroom and bathroom is absolutely breath taking (if you love a farm styled place) Host was extremely accomidating even though it was a last min booking.

They should scrap this question because there is nothing to list here!

Loved the animals. Especially Felix the cat. The property was close to beaches and shops.

Lighting was a bit poor but it was manageable. I would of liked beach towels and a beach umbrella as the beaches there have no shade. And when flying this would be a big welcome. A bigger fan or another fan would be great as it does get quite hot.
