Not what we expected from the booking.com description and photos.

Well equipped kitchen and cleanliness

The expectation of having 3 bedrooms was false. There was the lounge/kitchen, the bathroom and the main bedroom on the ground floor - all ok. On the first floor was only 1 room with a toilet/basin and the sleeping areas were just separated by very thin curtain. That although 3 bedrooms were advertised. There was no privacy on the first floor and access through the narrowly wound spiral staircase was difficult and dangerous.

Clean and Friendly

The place is very welcoming it made me feel like I was visiting my grandparents house. It was nice to have everything there that we would need in the kitchen and even having a washer and dryer. The rooms were nice and big and accomidated my kids that love to sleep low near to the grownd. We love that there is a pool table, Netflix and WiFi for the late night stay up and chill. The man that stays in a sepret entrance on the property was very helpful with everything we asked for and he even washed our cars for us. They have a great fire place outside where you can sit at night around it. The place was very clean and friendly I would defnatly come more. You can defnatly feel that the matrices are new and the bedding is fresh and clean. All you need is in the bathroom sope, toilet paper and hot water is always there.

A great family house with warmth of a real home

For my work part, the big and well equipped kitchen works like a wonder for anything. Gas stove and Wifi to use during loadshedding. Big double sink, and tap with extendable head is great for washing all sorts of pots and boards. Emergency light available and installed in the bathroom. For my leisure part, the mattress is very comfortable, supports spine well. Washing machine and dryer available, very convenient. A pool table of your own to enjoy a game at any time. Puzzles and books are also available to enjoy a moment of your own. The house is filled with the feeling of a home, each detail seems to carry its own story of the past. Second floor has 3 single beds and 1 double, it is a great house for a big family with lot of kids. I've extended my stay for 2 weeks directly with the owner, and enjoyed every second in the house. The most amazing part is, they have the best caretaker one could ask for. He is available for you all the time, making sure everything in the house works well and you use the best out of it. He notices details and deliver the best he could, which brings you warmth of a home like your own. Thank you Francois for everything, you made my stay memorable.

House need a good cleaning. They should employ someone that can clean the place before Visitors arrive.There was coffee stains on the Main bedroom floor and bedding. Toilets smells like urine. Needs a good clean.They should also get rid of that ugly doors on the bath and Main bedroom

not clean no out side area no dining chairs no interior doors one shower for the whole house states 3 bedrooms but actually only one plus loft dormitory style area owner/manager on the property so felt privacy was compromised
