Let's start with the booking - we all know how it goes, when booking online, we skip the places that have no reviews or very little reviews, but something about OTH, called our name. Before booking, we did some research, got Lori and Pieter contact details and I popped them a message. Lori delayed nothing, she replied timeously, asked enough questions to ensure we were happy with the accommodation for our group, made sure I knew that they offered everything and all we needed were food and ourselves. Let's talk about that, Lori left milk, coffee, tea (various) , sugar, water (various) and spices. Our milk is going home 🙌 Bathroom - Soap, shampoo, conditioner. Bedrooms - fully stocked right down to towels and face clothes 🥹💫 The accommodation is booked as a whole. You have no worries about strangers booking in while you are there. This is absolutely 10/10 service. You have access to the cutest caravan and cosiest cottage. For people who come from Cape Town, the security took some getting used to, because high walls and bolted gates are a norm for us, here your lock up and go is like your grandma back in 1857, safe, secure and peaceful. Put the meal on the coals or throw some pizza in the outdoor fire. There are board games and swingball and a few other games, we didn't get around to enjoying it yet (I guess that means another booking is needed) Shops close early, so come fully stocked, otherwise a 20 mins drive into Elands Bay will get you, your necessities. Overall, being able to come as a group of 9, enhances the experience so much. When I said, I absolutely love that we ended up here, I meant it. Value & Qty for money. Beautiful gardens for meal time and family time. Outdoor and indoor fire place for warmth when the chill kicks in. I hope more people find this to be their home away from home 💫

That we didn't get a chance to play swing ball and badminton... Mosquitoes 🦟 bring those creams and tablets 🤣 If coming with kids, use the 2 ottomans by the table to push against the crockery stand and then push the couch slightly closer to keep busy kids from wanting to touch. Simple solution to a stressful problem.
