The view was amazing
The wind, but at least the middle night it was wind still , the double bed is a bit small for elderly couples

Lovely country cottage on the outskirts of the pretty village of McGregor. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped, good WiFi . Although there are several cottages on the farm they are well spaced and private. Lovely walks around the farm and dam. Definitely recommend, we are booked to return next year already

Peaceful, tranquil cottage away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This was our second time at Dove cottage and dare I say, we can't wait to book the next trip 😉 A great benefit was that we were able to braai indoors when the weather changed.
McGregor wines is just a short trip up the road and definitely worth the visit.
The cottage provides all the luxury of home, beautifully decorated, filled hot tub (just need to be heated) and best of all was the extended check-out time.

The host is lovely and goes the extra mile. The view is absolutely amazing, lovely and peaceful. Wonderful option for someone looking to be outside more than inside. Great trail to walk or bike. The veranda was another highlight, well laid out and decorated. Good WiFi.
The cabin is very cute, but also very very cold (heaters are available, but not enough to warm to space). All beds were very uncomfortable, worn out mattresses and sloping in the middle.
