Fairly large comfortable room with seperate kitchen and bathroom in the upstairs quarters of the Cape Dutch Quarters of Tulbach, a quaint little town. Restuarant within easy walking distance.
Stairs, so many stairs.
Parking for our car was in the street. It seemed safe enough. Had to carry our luggage up and down the stairs.
If you wanted breakfast, it cost R150pp extra.

Lovely spot in Tulbagh, very central to amenities. Staff were very friendly.

Location great, walking distance from many attractions and restaurants. Checking in was easy. The room is spacious, very clean and comfortable.

You can’t beat the location of this place, and the lovely art and historical items and decor!
We have stayed in the large Victorian House, the house with the pool on Church Street, and the Loft a few times.
The pool in the courtyard of the main house is beautiful! ( see pic from Dec / Jan )
Every time we visit, we find the place needs a good scrub. We come back due to location and price.
After loads of cobwebs & dirty kitchen in Feb 2025, and even worse in August 2025 - we won’t be back. The place is really not clean, and I can’t use these showers again. The feedback has been given many times before.
