13 Nights Stay

Walking distance (1 min walk away from Marina, 5 min walk from a pud/grill and a tuck shop) Wifi speed was good Had all the basics you will need. Great for sleeping in then exploring the rest, kind of situation.

Unprofessional not welcoming, the cleaner ran the whole place, unexpected cash deposit requested (no info of return except the cleaner gives it back when he (if)is there when you check out)the room shared a hallway with the owners house and the room next door every time the other room was cleaned he went throw the way to your bathroom giving the feeling no privacy added you can hear everything the owner or other guest said + tv's + microwaves even at 3 am, cleaner walking into room a few times without even knocking on the door. Furniture on the old side, only one very old dirty fan equipped for room (did borrow a better one from the owner) Things to do swim in the pool full of bugs, sit on the bed watch netflix, and sit outside at the braai. The kettle had moldy water in it. Found multiple bugs (spiders) in the room as well.

The only nice thing was the location close to the marina but that is all.

So so small, looked a bit bigger on the pictures. Hot with no ventilation. Poor garden also needs love and attention and some water. My suggestion would be to make this unit a sleep 2 only with a better fan for more cool air when it is so hot.

location not in marina, the kitchen roof liight did not work. the bathroom zink had no drain plug. No gas stove, power was off most of the day no solar. not private, gate did not work, floor in flat not tiled.Shower no door.No cancellation option,Owner not onsite. dont be fooled by pics. worst stay i have ever had. more like servants quarters. Look like owner does not spen money for improvement. My opinion STAY AWAY.

Thank you Old Cape on the Marina-De Pond for an amazing time away from home.Rooms was clean and well maintained.Comfortable beds and pillows.Secure parking.Peaceful and quite area. Highlight was children enjoyed every minute of the private pool.I highly recommend Old Cape On Marina to anyone that needs a get away from they busy lifestyle.

Regret that we only booked for one night.Will book again,was worth the stay.

Convenient and everything you need is in the unit. Wifi was available which is a plus and the room had a smart TV and Netflix available to guests

The gate had to be operated manually due to faulty motor, Eskom to blame Cheap one ply toilet paper can be replaced with decent 2 ply
