Might be great for a Sunday/mid-week stay but too noisy on a weekend night due to the street pubs

Great location: in the middle of town.

The windows are only single-glazing and there are three pubs/restaurants in the street below: it is extremely noisy a night! The sofa in the sitting room cannot be used because it is right next to the window facing the noisy street.

Very nice appartment

The apartment itself was good, clean and comfortable, and spacious.

Sadly the communal area was grubby, and the noise from the adjacent pub was very loud, but it was the Saturday before Christmas.

Location & size of apartment

Very dated. On entering we noted the Yale local catch was only held in place with one screw. The entrance & stairwell were very dirty. We could only get cold water or very hot water in the shower, you couldn't mix together. Lots of electric extension leads.. Fire alarm call point continually flashing.

Middle of the old city location, cheap crash pad

Location was perfect for what we needed. Check in was straightforward with clear instructions. Apartment was clean, if a little rough round the edges, with huge bedrooms. It would be spot on for a couple of nights. Views out of the windows are straight out of A Muppet's Christmas Carol...

I took bedroom 2 to be met with a collapsing bedframe. Not sure if this was loose and needed tightening, or it was broken, but it resulted in an interesting sleeping position. The whole building had the feel of that first apartment you got with your girlfriend... okay, but with room for improvement.

City Centre Spacious Flat Perfect to explore the Old Town and Fruit Market

Loved being in the centre of Town with everything on our doorstep. Loved the size of the flat which was HUGE!! Loved the kitchen, just right and the bathroom shower was hot. The Hosts were great and always answered our messages in a timely manner.

We couldn't get normal TV on the smart TV, only apps? The front door to the building, the lock needs attention. We could not lock it easily.

It's fine, but there's some serious uncomfortable details

Spacious bedrooms, nice interior design, location above a bar (which can be a pro or con, but we stayed here on weekdays so it wasn't too crazy, the sounds from there). There's lots of windows, and good curtains in the sleeping areas.

The chair in the main bedroom reeked of cat spray/pee. I guess the chair was vintage when the owner bought it and they didn't notice the smell... I have a strong sense of smell so I guess others would've missed it. I moved the chair to the hallway and the smell in the entire bedroom improved, luckily! The main bedroom is very large, but the bed is rather small... I would've loved a bigger bed for comfort. The toilet seat has a plastic layer that is peeling off, which looks really weird and is just unhygienic because a non-smooth surface keeps more bacteria... The living room is VERY small. There's space for 5 people to sleep, but only 4 people to sit. The table with the high chairs just doesn't make any sense. You cannot put 4 plates on there, because it's so small, so you cant use it for a meal, and it's kind of wobbly... Moving the rug in the living room, we found it wasn't cleaned under there. Some of the handles of the kitchen cabinets are sticky. There is a washer, but no drying rack... Very inconvenient.

Good Location

The property was very well located for what we needed. We were there for our daughter’s graduation. The apartment was spacious with lots of room for getting ready early in the morning. Kitchen had plenty of crockery.

The main door into the property did not seem very secure and the downstairs area smelt of rubbish bins. The sofa bed in the lounge was very small and had a very thin mattress. The toilet seat was broken and looked like it had been repaired with glue. It needs to. D replaced.

Good flat for a central Hull break

Excellent location on a very special street in central Hull. Nicely decorated and furnished flat in a gorgeous old building. Really good support from the owner to replace the coffee machine.

Lock on door from the street was broken which could have made the place feel a bit unsafe. Slightly less well equipped than the description.

Good comfortable digs for Hull New Theatre

Good central location location, all standard amenities for a comfortable stay with work (great digs for Hull New Theatre)

The main door to the apartment building wasn’t fully secure. Nothing our hosts could do about it. Also some of the features were a bit worse for wear— the toilet seat was slightly worse for wear.

A haven in the land of green ginger

Size of the property was good and heating was really quick to warm up the flat. Decent kitchenette and nice living space. Everything was there that we needed.

The outside door lock is not secure so if you pushed the door anyone could wslk in and try to break in. Stairs to flat could be a bit tricky if not paying attention. The windows at the property aren't the most soundproof, to be expected though with age of building.

Clean, comfortable and very central

Lovely space to relax before a night out in the city centre. Bright and airy and beds were comfortable. Property was easy to access and very central. Would recommend to friends visiting Hull who needed a place to stay.

Very close to some busy bars, etc so a little noisy at times but didn't disturb sleep.

Would Not Return

Convenient. You could see effort had been made with interior design.

Smell of bins in entrance hall. Very tired and undecorated staircase to flat. NO FIRE INSTRUCTIONS - particularly worrying when fire alarm went off at 4am and there was no one to deal with. Fire extinguisher and blanket in drawer - drawer should be clearly labelled. One bed broken, although mattress acceptable. Sound of upstairs water running through pipe hanging into this flats bedroom. Bathroom needs finishing off.

Good, not great

Big apartament, big bedrooms. Nicely decorated, hosts helped us find some parking in the area as there isn't any at the property.

Very noisy from the streets below, the bed in one of the bedrooms creaked a lot as it has a metal frame, shower pressure very poor and no normal TV channels.

Ideal location for all the great places in Hull town.

Superb location in one of the best parts of town. Very spacious bedrooms. Great view to look out in the morning. Lots of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby along with the great market with all its food stalls.

Took a while to warm up but this was one of the coldest nights of the year. Nice and toasty once the heaters warmed the rooms up
