As a jobbing chauffeur, I’m often looking for somewhere comfortable, quiet, and affordable after a long day on the road, and Budget Rooms in Fort William ticked every box. The accommodation was exactly what it says on the tin – a budget room that offers excellent value for money. The bed was very comfortable, which is exactly what you need after hours of driving, and I found it to be a little piece of sanctuary. There was coffee available, a kettle, and a good shower – all the essentials done really well. The location was also ideal, with convenient parking and easy access around Fort William. I arrived quite late, around 9:30 pm, and the landlord was immediately available to help me with entry and getting settled in. The communication and responsiveness were excellent. If you’re a traveller on foot, be aware there’s a fairly steep hill up to the property, but as a professional driver, it was perfect for my needs. I had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend Budget Rooms to other professionals, drivers, and anyone passing through Fort William who wants a clean, quiet, and very budget-friendly place to stay. :::
