Such a simple Balinese house with gorgeous carved wooden doors that open right into a lush garden. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and thank goodness for the windows, the ventilation makes all the difference. It never gets hot at night because of the high altitude, so no AC needed. The man who runs the place knows everyone in the neighborhood and is so helpful. It’s just lovely.

Amazing owner. One of the best people I've ever met. Mr. Gusti was incredibly kind and accommodating. The property was so beautiful. Anytime I'm in Besakih I'm staying there, hands down.

The host is genuinely the nicest man I’ve ever met, it makes it worth going here just to meet him. He was so kind we hired a moped from him, he insisted to taking us to the temple to show us around at night which was unreal. Really great guy
