HIGH TREES BYRE - Two bed Cottage with Log Burner & Incredible Views

The views, seclusion and quietness while being close enough to pubs and restaurants. The living room, kitchen and small garden were cozy and wonderfully suited the Lake District family trip vibe. We went up Great Gable this time and were knackered coming back and the warm water, bedding, overall vibe of the cottage felt like a hug. The kitchen was very well stocked. Didn’t need any utensils. We shopped at the farm shop service on the way and cooked cumfortably for the three nights we were there. The rooms are cozy and the beds are comfortable with plenty of thought through items for storage and convenience. Oh did I mention there was a washing machine - haha very useful!!

A clothes dryer would’ve been great. And a blender/food processor… maybe we just like soup too much

Lovely cottage with amazing amenities- massive stove and oven, great kitchen, 3 WCs. Gorgeous view and very quiet and relaxing.

Gorgeous little cottage (not that little) tons of space for the two of us and our dog. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, the little back courtyard garden was so peaceful and beautiful (and sheep came to peer over the fence at us), comfy beds, cosy lounge with super log burner - it really was the perfect stay.

Great location. Great range cooker and provision of a bike shed.

Cold in the lounge and the log burner not very good. No hot water in the en-suite bathroom or blind on the window next to the shower.
