Great value home on the edge of the Lakes.

We liked the layout of the rooms ( beds available and proper beds) smelt clean, places to store boots and coats, spacious house, liked the 2 bathrooms, kitchen/diner etc. overall a very good property.

We liked it all. Would definitely come back again.

Very nicely presented house. All essentials there. Very clean. Great location for both the lakes and for us racing it was perfect. I should keep quiet as it was so nice I don’t want other people to know and make sure it is available for us - not really fair!

Lovely stay with lots of space

Lovely clean house with plenty of space. The back yard was great for eating breakfast and dinner in the sunshine and gorgeous dark sky for star gazing. Really useful having two bathrooms as well.

Had to park quite far down the street which made unloading difficult. Beds weren't the comfiest but not uncomfortable.

House was great, lots of space for 6 people. Nice outside space to chill at night.

Parking was a bit hit and miss to get close to the property however our vehicle was always a short walk to the property. My parents have a blue badge and there are three disabled spaces near the property so they were always able to get one.

27 Alecdon park road

Great accommodation very clean well presented and furnished to a high standard, everything you require is there. Excellent location for the lakes and the coast.

Although there was no off road parking with this accommodation it was street parking only we never had an issue we were always able to park in close proximity.

It was a little tricky with the busy on road parking and not being able to park directly outside the property. Emptying the car was difficult due to railings on the footpath, it was ok for us we managed but not good for people with disabilities.

Ideal homely base from which to explore the Lake District and more.

The title is entirely accurate! The property easily accommodated our adult family of six. We felt at home as soon as we walked in and didn’t want for anything. The home was clean and tidy, the kitchen and laundry fully equipped, with items you might need on holiday, such as cooking oil and laundry detergent, supplied. The wifi was good and we found ourselves within easy reach of Lake District delights and coastal towns. The price of our stay was extremely reasonable too.

Situated on a road that is busy in rush hours but mostly quiet, it can be difficult to find a car spot right outside at certain hours. There is very little in the village of Arlecdon, … the sole pub was closed for what looked like extensive renovations. We used the home as a comfortable base from which to explore the local area by car.

Lovely weekend in a clean spacious cottage perfectly placed to explore

The cottage was very spacious and clean and well placed to explore the area - the brewery at the end of the road that served excellent food was an absolute bonus

There is only room in the lounge for 4 people to sit which wasn't an issue for us but would be if the cottage was at capacity. Parking was challenging but not impossible

A lovely, roomy property for a family short break.

It was lovely, spacious, well-equipped and nicely decorated. The top floor was also particularly appreciated by my daughter as a quiet and cosy space. The dog especially liked the provision of bowls!! It's also in a good location for access to the Western Lakes, the Cumbrian coast and Carlisle. Keswick is also within a reasonable distance in a car. Great value for money.

The corridor entrance was unexpected and a little disappointing as a first impression. However, the main house made up for this. Parking was a bit tricky when we got back in the evenings, but we managed to find somewhere around the corner. The kitchen was a little chilly - probably since the thermostat is in the main lounge. The patio garden could do with a little TLC and the dog would have loved some grass, though it was sunny and secure.

Lovely house with friendly host. Loads of room and very clean and well presented rooms

Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Lovely decor and loads of space for my family. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and equipment and we loved the layout.

Parking was a bit of a pain because the weather was so bad and it would of been good if there was a shop or pub within walking distance. We found a lovely place called the countryman with great food, dog friendly and nice staff.

Absolutely beautiful area, clean and comfortable cottage with lots of nice homely details, nice patio at the back with garden table and chairs, kind and attentive host, extra room in the attic with lovely view and a desk to work, the kids loved it and so did we!!

Good property, good location. Just a few little things that I'm sure will be ironed out in time!

Modern, well-decorated property. Perfect for us and our two teenagers. Spacious too! Bread and milk left for our arrival, which was a nice touch!

More light. The lounge is a little dark. There is no plug for toothbrush/shaver in either bathroom. Cleaning a little haphazard as there was a sock behind the chair, and crisps hidden in the couch arm storage compartment.
