Step outside to explore walks on Blake Fell (3 miles) or Grassmoor (7.5 miles), making sure to stop off at Crummock Water (6.5 miles) for a waterside picnic or dog walk. A bustling hub in rural Cumbria is the nearby town of Cockermouth (8 miles), a handy spot for local amenities that also offers tourist attractions including the birthplace of William Wordsworth. And of course, the coastline lies only 8 miles away with Whitehaven’s beautiful Marina and historic Rum Story museum lie waiting to be explored.
