Ty Ayla Premier Apartments - Roath Park

Exceeded my expectations, so spacious, beautifully designed and has everything needed.

It was a 40 minute from the centre but that Is just personal preference

Parking was sometimes a bit tricky

Good location close to the park, 2 good size bedrooms , good facilities

The beds were a little hard for me , also could of been a little bit cleaner

The apartment was tastefully decorated and clean. The welcome pack with water, snacks, tea and coffee was a nice touch. The apartment living area was comfortable. The bathroom was very small but functional. The dressing room to the side of the bedroom was really nicely done and thought has been put into mirror placement, plug sockets are plentiful and where you need them. Bed was firm but comfy. There was a large fan provided which was welcomed. Very nice decor throughout Check-in and out was an easy process.

The entrance to the flats was cluttered with rubbish bags, cigarette ends, the outside looked very shabby. A light at the entrance would also be handy as we arrived in the dark and was difficult to see. The flat itself was a bit stuffy, particularly in the bathroom where there was no ventilation and the fan didn't work. Toilet didn't flush very well The living area could have used some better ambient lighting. No lamps present so we took one from the bedroom to use instead of having the bright ceiling lights on at night. The flat was really nicely decorated but the small touches were missing. There were no forks at all in the cutlery drawer so we are our meal with spoons 🙈 I paid £423 for two nights and expected the finer details to be a bit better and especially the appearance of the entrance was shockingly untidy and dirty.
