Host & Stay - Sail Loft

Very clean, light, bright and airy apartment which had everything we needed. Superb stay.

Info re collection of the key. We spent ages looking for the key box outside when in fact, you need to go through the outside door (which is open) and up the stairs to the front door of the apartment where the key box is located.

Not much room around the bed.

We had a really lovely stay at the loft in Hayle. It had everything we needed – including Wi-Fi – and it truly felt like a home away from home. The space was comfortable, well-equipped, and perfect for relaxing after a day out. The beach is up to a 30-minute walk, which is a nice stroll, or just a few minutes by car, making it very easy to get there. Overall, a great place to stay – we would definitely come back!

The only thing to note is that the entrance can be a bit tricky to find at first. You need to go into the first small street just after the white building, then head down past the archway. There is a gravel area at the bottom that is used as a parking space, and at the far end of it you’ll find the entrance to the loft – up the stairs.

The location was good for access to the train station, and to explore Hale, St Ives. Bed was comfy, and it felt secure and really clean. Comfy sofa and good bathroom good for chilling out

Difficult to find the place, it's behind a house where it is not signposted outside. Did not feel taken care of in the checkin process as a single traveller and there were delays in communication when messaging as I could not work out how to get in. No mention the lock box was inside up the stairs so I was hanging around trying to find it and wasn't sure to enter the house until a kind neighbour saw me, there were no instructions for this. Lovely view from the window at the top but all the neighbours can see you so felt like a fishbowl. Hob didn't light so could only work one at a time and was unsafe as the knobs would heat up and burn. There is a washing machine but nowhere to dry your clothes. For the price I expected these things to be taken care of. No table so have to eat on a tray, and the welcome book was hidden in a cupboard.
