The area was quiet and right in the centre of tons of things of interest.
I kept getting lost but I had my mobile with a good map. That helped.

Great location - near to The Hoe (for summer concerts), the Barbican and city centre. Room was lovely - plenty of room, heaters to plug in (if required) and full kitchen.
So easy to self check-in - full detailed instructions given re getting key and finding room
Lovely staff in office downstairs
Only downside was a mix up re parking - I booked parking when booking accommodation - but suggest when booking parking you send another request after initial booking. (however plenty of local parking available - Theatre Royal cp really close)

The view was Fantastic! Right out over the Hoe. Good comms. Very convenient. Comfy new bed and bedding. Good value for money.
Building is a bit run down but the room was better.

Perfect location, clean apartment. Helpful manager who helped when it was impossible to collect the keys as the receptionist was not even in the building.
The check in is between 2pm and 4pm. I came at 2 and the reception was empty. You need to ring the number provided which is a landline in an empty reception. Spent 40 minutes waiting ( someone let me in into the building otherwise I would be outside). I have messaged via booking.com and I am guessing it was the manager who reacted and the receptionist finally appeared. He was not even in a building. Not the best service but thank you to the person online.
