It was clean and a short walk to everything I needed. The manager was very helpful. easy to access the property. slept really well, but I did bring ear plugs đ

The room was reasonably clean. The communal tea and coffee top up table was a nice idea.
Despite telling the property owner we would be booking in at 3pm and receiving a reply, that time came and went with no information about getting in. I sent a query just before 3, asking for the details and received no response. I had to phone the owner while on the doorstep waiting to get in. (Another couple also arrived and were awaiting the check on details while we were there.)
After finally getting in, we found only one bath towel and one hand towel for me and my husband. The shower was ok, but the grout was dirty, the sink drained slowly and in the morning smelt very âdrainyâ and there was no loo roll holder. Just a roll on the cistern.
The bed was quite hard and the bedclothes thin and didnât really seem fresh, although they were clean enough.
The TV did turn on but there were no channels and it didnât appear as if the remote for any streaming services worked. Nothing.
Finally, the room details state chocolate in the room which I thought would be charming. But alas, there was none.
