Cows in the side yard upon entering - what a treat - didn't know this was a working dairy farm! Farm fresh milk and eggs in the fridge upon arrival. Sue and Mike couldn't have been more welcoming and Hospitable. Sue offered to drive and pick us up from the village so we could enjoy a few pints at dinner. This was so incredibly appreciated after a long drive. And Mike offered us to join him in the morning to see the workings of the farm. Incredibly interesting. His pride in his work and his love for his cows was obvious. This was a last-minute change of plans, and we couldn't have been happier with how it turned out. Definitely one of the highlights of our stay.

Exactly as described — a real working farmhouse surrounded by cattle, sheep, and all the rest. Sue was a wonderful host, and check-in and check-out were both effortless. We’d go back in a heartbeat and can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks, Sue!
