Great space for a family of five, everything we needed, plenty of room and lovely quiet location in Cheltenham. We will stay again.

The heating was very effective but hard to adjust.

This was my first time booking a house as accommodation for my family. Based on this experience I will look to do this more often rather than booking a hotel.

Nothing particularly comes to mind and if it did, I think it would be a ‘picky’ comment as everything was good and fit for purpose.

Wasn’t the property we booked but the owners were brilliant and sorted us out, great stay, thankyou!

Parking was a little strange but we were warned prior, so a little walk no hardship!

The beds were quite small (Apart from the Master!) so make sure you like the person you’re sharing a bed with! The pool table is tiny so don’t expect it to keep you occupied for hours.

It was a good spot for friends to get together and visit. Nice and close to multiple supermarkets. Beds were comfortable. Cool to have a pool table. (Small version) and darts.

Not necessarily things we didn’t like but things that would bring this property from a 7 to a 10: A baby gate, a couple fans for the upstairs bedrooms for really hot days, few more bits in the kitchen- we wanted to make pancakes one morning and had to go get a measuring cup and whisk, then mix the batter in the big sauce pan. There were quite a few roots from weeds poking up in the grass so being out there barefoot wasn’t a good idea. And the vines with thorns at the end of the yard don’t really need to be there. Abbie mentioned the bathroom was getting an upgrade, the top of the toilet was broken upstairs and the shower pressure was pretty bad and the temperature was all over the place.

The house is nice, location is good, walking distance from restaurants and basic necessaties. Small back garden is nice and relaxing.

The house is listed as 2 bathrooms however there is only one bath, other bathroom is just a toilet so it was a bit tight for a family of 8. There are 4 bedrooms but only about 6 chairs in total so we couldn't sit together, so I suggest few more chairs would help.

There was plentiful hot water and the location was handy to shops.

No salt and pepper, no cooking oil, no soap/shower gel in the shower. These are just basics that most holiday rentals provide. On arrival, there were very dirty (covered in greasy fingerprints and clearly not washed) glass cups in the cupboard, plus dirty plates and dried-on food on a serving spoon. We ended up washing everything. There were only 4 cereal bowls and 6 chipped plates, even though the place sleeps up to 8 . There was no information book so had to ring up to find out how to turn on heating. It turned out they hadn't received either of our emails sent 11 days prior, informing them that there would be 2 extra adults and 1 child (7 in total). So as a result we only had 4 towels, and the double bed was not configured as 2 singles. The rubbish bin outside was full with bags sticking out the top. No other place to put our rubbish. The sofa had a big split in the top and the upstairs hot tap was faulty and hard to turn off. I rang the managers - this is when I discovered they hadn't received my emails (sent via booking.com). They wanted more money for the extra people but I was tired from travelling all day and considering the inconvenience to us, dirty crockery and lack of stuff was not my fault (plus I'd already paid 920 pounds for 4 nights inc an 80 pound cleaning fee which wouldn't be required as my cousins had booked for an extra 2 days and they also had paid a cleaning fee) I suggested that we needn't pay any more; this didn't go down well and both I and my cousins then paid the extra sums. They turned up and gave us a box of crockery and more towels, and a few toilet rolls (not enough). I had to contact them again as there were no bin liners and again at the end as I didn't know what do do about the rubbish. They responded quickly to requests but there was no empathy or customer care. I had to do a lot of extra work, chasing up things - and I had to buy bloody salt and pepper!
